Theo-<lb n="3"/>gnis aus Athen<lb n="4"/><hi rend="italic">proxenos</hi> der<lb n="5"/>Stadt der Koer<lb n="6"/>sei, er selbst<lb n="7"/>und seine Nachkommen;<lb n="8"/>dass ihnen sein sollen<lb n="9"/>freie Einfahrt nach Kos und<lb n="10"/>Ausfahrt im<lb n="11"/>Krieg und im<lb n="12"/>Frieden ungestört und<lb n="13"/>ohne Vertrag, für<lb n="14"/>sie und ihr Vermögen.</ab></div><div type="translation" xml:lang="EN" resp="Kent Rigsby"><ab xmlns="http://www.tei-c.org/ns/1.0"><lb n="1"/>Decree of the council:<lb n="2"/>Theodoros son of Theo-<lb n="3"/>gnis, from Athens<lb n="4"/>is to be a <hi rend="italic">proxenos</hi><lb n="5"/>of the city of the<lb n="6"/>Koans, both himself<lb n="7"/>and his descendants;<lb n="8"/>they are to have<lb n="9"/>free import to Kos and<lb n="10"/>export in both<lb n="11"/>war and peace<lb n="12"/>exempt from seizure and<lb n="13"/>without treaty for both them-<lb n="14"/>selves and their goods.</ab></div>
